Thai Directions

These are expressions used when giving or getting directions in Thai. Very useful when trying to find your way around or when lost.

Excuse me! (to ask someone): ขอโทษ (ครับ / ค่ะ)

Can you show me?: ขอดูได้ไหม (ครับ / คะ) ช่วยบอกได้ไหม
k̄hx dū dị̂ h̄ịm (khrạb/ kha) ch̀wy bxk dị̂ h̄ịm
I'm lost: หลงทาง (ครับ / ค่ะ)
h̄lng thāng (khrạb/ kh̀a)
I'm not from here: ผมไม่ใช่คนท้องถิ่น (ครับ / ค่ะ)
p̄hm mị̀chı̀ khn tĥxngt̄hìn (khrạb/ kh̀a)
Can I help you?: มีอะไรให้ช่วยไหม (ครับ / คะ)

Go straight: ตรงไป

How can I get to the museum? : ผมจะไปพิพิธภัณฑ์อย่างไร (ครับ / คะ)

How long does it take to get there?: การเดินทาง ใช้เวลานานเท่าไหร่ (ครับ / คะ)

Downtown (city center): ใจกลางเมือง

Near: ใกล้
