Pashtu Negation

This is a lesson about negation in Pashtu. This includes words or expressions used to form a negative form as opposted to the affirmative. For example "I don't understand".

Nothing: هیڅ

Not yet: تر اوسه نه

No one: هیڅوک نه

No longer: نورنه

Never: هيڅکله نه

Cannot: امکان نشته

Should not: کیدای نشی

The below examples demonstrate how to use the negation form in a sentence. Don't be shy to use of these expressions if you don't know something.

We don't understand: موږنه پوهیږو

I do not speak Japanese: زه جاپانی خبری نه کوم

I cannot remember the word: زماخبره نه ده په یاد

You should not forget this word: ته بایدداهیڅ هیرنه کی

No problem!: مشکل نه شته

I don't know!: زه نه پیژنم

I'm not interested!: زه علاقه نه لرم

Don't worry!: سوچ مه کوه

This is wrong: داغلط ده

This is not correct: داصحی نه ده

No one here speaks Greek: هیڅوک دلته یونانی خبری نه کوی

I'm not fluent in Italian yet: زه په اټالوی صحی بلد نه یم
