Hausa Negation

This is a lesson about negation in Hausa. This includes words or expressions used to form a negative form as opposted to the affirmative. For example "I don't understand".

No: a'a
Nothing: babu komai
Not yet: ba yanzu ba
No one: ba kowa
No longer:
Never: har abada
Cannot: ba zan
Should not:

The below examples demonstrate how to use the negation form in a sentence. Don't be shy to use of these expressions if you don't know something.

We don't understand: Ba ma fahimta
I do not speak Japanese: Ban iya yaren Japan ba
I cannot remember the word: Ba zan iya tuna kalmar ba
You should not forget this word: Kada ka / ki manta da wannan duniyar
No problem!: Babu matsala!
I don't know!: Ban sani ba!
I'm not interested!: Ba ni da sha'awa
Don't worry!: Ka da ka damu!
This is wrong: Wannan kuskure ne
This is not correct: Wannan ba dai dai ba ne
No one here speaks Greek: A nan ba wanda ya iya Girkanci
I'm not fluent in Italian yet: Ban ƙware da magana da Italiyanci ba tukuna
