Lithuanian Present

This is a list of verbs in the present tense in Lithuanian. First let's start with the raw format before conjugating the verbs to the present form. Make sure to compare this table and the one below it.

To give: duoti
To play: žaisti
To read: skaityti
To understand: suprasti
To have: turėti
To know: žinoti
To learn: mokytis
To think: galvoti
To work: dirbti
To speak: kalbėti
To drive: važiuoti
To smile: šypsotis
To find: rasti

These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the present tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).

I see you: Aš tave matau
I write with a pen: Aš rašau parkeliu
You love apples: Tu mėgsti obuolius
You give money: Tu duodi pinigų
You play tennis: Tu žaidi tenisą
He reads a book: Jis skaito knygą
He understands me: Jis mane supranta
She has a cat: Ji turi katę
She knows my friend: Ji pažįsta mano draugą
We want to learn: Mes norime mokytis
We think Spanish is easy: Mes manome, kad Ispanų yra lengva
You (plural) work here: Jūs dirbate čia
You (plural) speak French: Jūs kalbate prancūziškai
They drive a car: Jie vairuoja mašiną
They smile: Jie šypsosi
