These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).
I saw you: Aš tave mačiau |
I wrote with a pen: Aš rašiau parkeliu |
You loved apples: Tau patiko obuoliai |
You gave money: Tu davei pinigų |
You played tennis: Tu žaidei tenisą |
He read (past) a book: Jis skaitė knygą |
He understood me: Jis man esuprato |
She had a cat: Ji turėjo katę |
She knew my friend: Ji pažinojo mano draugą |
We wanted to learn: Mes norėjome mokytis |
We thought Spanish is easy: Mes manėme, kad ispanų yra lengva |
You (plural) worked here: Jūs dirbote čia |
You (plural) spoke French: Jūs kalbate prancūziškai |
They drove a car: Jie vairavo mašiną |
They smiled: Jie nusišypsojo |
