The pen is under the desk: Die pen is onder die lessenaar
The letter is inside the book: Die brief is in die boek
Can I practice Italian with you?: Kan ek Italiaans (saam) met jou oefen?
I was born in Miami: Ek is in Miami gebore
I speak French but with an accent: Ek praat Frans, maar met ’n aksent
