Now: 今 ima |
Later: 後で atode |
Tonight: 今夜 konya |
Last night: 昨夜 sakuya |
This morning: 今朝 kesa |
Yesterday: 昨日 kinou |
Today: 今日 kyou |
Tomorrow: 明日 ashita |
Next week: 来週 raishuu |
Already: すでに sudeni |
Recently: 最近 saikin |
Lately: 最近 saikin |
Soon: もうすぐ moosugu |
Immediately: すぐに sugu ni |
Still: まだ mada |
Yet: まだ mada |
After the above adverbs of time, now we move on to adverbs of place.
Here: ここ koko |
There: そこ soko |
Everywhere: どこにでも doko ni demo |
Anywhere: どこでも doko demo |
Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.
Carefully: 丁寧に teinei ni |
Alone: 独りで hitori de |
Very: とても totemo |
Really: 本当に hontooni |
Quickly: 速く hayaku |
Slowly: ゆっくり yukkuri |
Almost: ほとんど hotondo |
Together: 一緒に issho ni |
These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".
Always: いつも itsumo |
Sometimes: 時々 tokidoki |
Rarely: まれに mare ni |
Never: 決して kesshite |
