Finnish Questions

How?: Kuinka? Miten?
What?: Mitä? Mikä?
Who?: Kuka? Ketkä?
Why?: Miksi?
Where?: Missä?
When?: Koska? Milloin?

These are sentences which include the above tools to ask questions. Asking questions is a very good way to learn a language or start a conversation.

What is this called?: Mikä tämä on nimeltään?
Why is it expensive?: Miksi se on kallis?
How would you like to pay?: Kuinka haluaisit maksaa?
Can I come?: Voinko / saanko tulla?
Do you know her?: Tunnetko hänet?
How difficult is it?: Kuinka vaikea se on?
Can I help you?: Voinko auttaa sinua?
Can you help me?: Voitko auttaa minua?
Do you speak English?: Puhutko englantia?
How far is this?: Kuinka kaukana tämä on?
What time is it?: Mitä kello on?
How much is this?: Kuinka paljon tämä maksaa?
What is your name?: Mikä on nimesi?
Where do you live?: Missä asut?
When can we meet?: Koska voimme tavata?
Who is knocking at the door?: Kuka koputtaa ovella?
