Ukrainian Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Ukrainian. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Now: зараз
zaraz
Later: пізніше

Tonight: сьогодні ввечері

Last night: вчора ввечері

This morning: сьогодні вранці

Yesterday: вчора

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: обережно
oberezhno
Alone: наодинці, сам
naodyntsi, sam
Very: дуже
duzhe
Really: насправді
naspravdi
Quickly: швидко
shvydko
Slowly: повільно
povilʹno
Almost: майже
mayzhe
Together: разом
razom

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: завжди
zavzhdy
Sometimes: іноді, інколи
inodi, inkoly
Rarely: рідко
ridko
Never: ніколи
nikoly
