Ukrainian Negation

This is a lesson about negation in Ukrainian. This includes words or expressions used to form a negative form as opposted to the affirmative. For example "I don't understand".

No: Ні
Ni
Nothing: Нічого
Nichoho
Not yet: Ще ні
Shche ni
No one: Ніхто
Nikhto
No longer: Більше не
Bilʹshe ne
Never: ніколи
nikoly
Cannot: Не можу
Ne mozhu
Should not: Не варто
Ne varto

The below examples demonstrate how to use the negation form in a sentence. Don't be shy to use of these expressions if you don't know something.

We don't understand: Ми не розуміємо
My ne rozumiyemo
I do not speak Japanese: Я не розмовляю японською
YA ne rozmovlyayu yaponsʹkoyu
I cannot remember the word: Я не можу запам'ятати слово
YA ne mozhu zapam'yataty slovo
You should not forget this word: Вам треба не забувати / пам'ятати це слово
Vam treba ne zabuvaty / pam'yataty tse slovo
No problem!: Без проблем!
Bez problem!
I don't know!: Я не знаю!
YA ne znayu!
I'm not interested!: Мені не цікаво!
Meni ne tsikavo!
Don't worry!: Не хвилюйся!
Ne khvylyuysya!
This is wrong: Це неправильно
Tse nepravylʹno
This is not correct: Це неправильно
Tse nepravylʹno
No one here speaks Greek: Тут ніхто не розмовляє грецькою.
Tut nikhto ne rozmovlyaye hretsʹkoyu.
I'm not fluent in Italian yet: Я ще не розмовляю італійською вільно.
YA shche ne rozmovlyayu italiysʹkoyu vilʹno.
