These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).
I saw you: Vidio sam te |

You loved apples: Volio si jabuke |
You gave money: Dao si novac |
You played tennis: Igrao si tenis |
He read (past) a book: Čitao je knjigu |
He understood me: Razumio me |
She had a cat: Imao je mačku |
She knew my friend: Poznala je mog prijatelja |
We wanted to learn: Htjeli smo učiti |
We thought Spanish is easy: Mislili smo da je španjolski lagan |
You (plural) worked here: Radili ste ovdje |
You (plural) spoke French: Govorili ste francuski |
They drove a car: Vozili su automobil |
