These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).
| I saw you: Vidio sam te |
| I wrote with a pen: Pisao sam kemijskom olovkom |
| You loved apples: Volio si jabuke |
| You gave money: Dao si novac |
| You played tennis: Igrao si tenis |
| He read (past) a book: Čitao je knjigu |
| He understood me: Razumio me |
| She had a cat: Imao je mačku |
| She knew my friend: Poznala je mog prijatelja |

| You (plural) worked here: Radili ste ovdje |
