This is a list of verbs in the past tense in Bulgarian. First let's start with the raw format before conjugating the verbs to the past form. Make sure to compare this table and the one below it.

These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).
I saw you: Видях те Vidyah te |
I wrote with a pen: Аз писах с химикал Az pisah s himikal |
You loved apples: Аз обичах ябълки Az obichah yabalki |
You gave money: Аз дадох пари Az dadoh pari |
You played tennis: Аз играх тенис Az igrah tenis |
He read (past) a book: Той чeте книга Toy chete kniga |
He understood me: Той ме разбра Toy me razbra |
She had a cat: Тя имаше котка Tya imashe kotka |

We wanted to learn: Ние искахме да учим Nie iskahme da uchim |
We thought Spanish is easy: Ние мислехме, че испанският е лесен Nie mishlehme, che ispanskiyat e lesen |
You (plural) worked here: Вие работехте тук Vie rabotehte tuk |
You (plural) spoke French: Вие говорехте френски Vie govorehte frenski |
They drove a car: Те караха кола Te karaha kola |
They smiled: Те се усмихнаха Te se usmihnaha |
