Doctor: el médico
Policeman: la policía
Teacher: el profesor / la profesora
Businessman: el empresario / hombre de negocios
Student: el / la estudiante
Singer: el / la cantante
Engineer: el / la ingeniero
Artist: el / la artista
Actor: el actor
Actress: la actriz
Nurse: el enfermero / la enfermera
Translator: el traductor / la traductora

These examples will help you answer the question "What do you do?" or "What do you do for a living?". Note how the personal pronouns are used with the nouns in this sentence.

I'm looking for a job: Estoy buscando un trabajo
I'm an artist: Soy un / a artista
He is a policeman: El es un polícia
She is a singer: Ella es una cantante
I'm a new employee: Soy un empleado nuevo
I have a long experience: Tengo mucha experiencia
