This is a list of pronouns in Tajik. This includes subject, object, and the possessive. These are used on a daily basis, so don't skip this lesson. We start with the object pronouns such as "I, you, her ..."

Here are samples to demonstrate how the object pronoun is used in a sentence.
I love you: Ман шуморо дуст медорам Man šumoro dust medoram |
She is beautiful: У зебо аст U zebo ast |
We are happy: Мо хушбахт хастем Mo hušbaht hastem |
They are dancing: Онхо ракс мекунанд Onho raks mekunand |
Now we look into the subject pronoun such as "me, him, us, them ...".
Me: маро maro |
You: туро (pl.шуморо) turo (pl.šumoro) |
Him: ӯро ūro |
Her: ӯро ūro |
Us: моро moro |
You (pl.): Шуморо Šumoro |
Them: онҳоро onhoro |
These are examples to demonstrate how the subject pronoun is used in a sentence.
Give me your phone number: Раками телефонатонро ба ман дихед Rakami telefonatonro ba man dihed |
I can give you my email: Ман метавонам е-майламро ба шумо дихам Man metavonam e-majlamro ba šumo diham |
Tell him to call me: Барояш гуед ба ман занг занад Baroâš gued ba man zang zanad |
Can you call us?: Шумо метавонед ба мо занг занед? Šumo metavoned ba mo zang zaned? |
We reach now the possessive adjective part, used to refer to thing we possess. Examples: "my, our, their ...".
My: ман man |
Your: ту tu |
His: ӯ ū |
Her: ӯ ū |
Our: мо mo |
Your (pl.): Шумо Šumo |
Their: онҳо onho |
Here are samples to demonstrate how the possessive adjective is used.
My phone number is . . .: Раками телефони ман .... мебошад Rakami telefoni man .... mebošad |
His email is . . .: Е-майли вай .... мебошад E-majli vaj .... mebošad |
Our dream is to visit Spain: Орзуи мо ба Испания ташриф овардан мебошад Orzui mo ba Ispaniâ tašrif ovardan mebošad |
Their country is beautiful: Кишвари онхо зебо аст Kišvari onho zebo ast |
This is the possessive pronoun. Used as an alternative to the possessive adjectives above. Instead of saying "It is my dog" you can say "It is mine".
Mine: аз они ман az oni man |
Yours: аз они ту / шумо az oni tu / šumo |
His: аз они вай az oni vaj |
Hers: аз они у az oni u |
Ours: аз они мо az oni mo |
Yours (pl.): аз они шумо az oni šumo |
Theirs: аз они онҳо az oni onho |
These are some examples of the possessive pronoun in a sentence.
The book is mine: Ин китоби ман аст In kitobi man ast |
Is this pen yours?: Оё ин ручкаи туст? Oë in ručkai tust? |
The shoes are hers: Он пойафзолхои уст On pojafzolhoi ust |
Victory is ours: Галаба аз мост Galaba az most |
