These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the present tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).

| You love apples: gusting-gusto mo ang mga mansanas |
| You give money: magbigay ka ng pera |
| You play tennis: magtenis ka; maglaro ka ng tenis |

| He understands me: naiintindihan niya ako |

| She knows my friend: kilala niya ang kaibigan ko |
| We want to learn: gusto niyang matuto |
| We think Spanish is easy: sa palagay naming madali ang Kastila / espanyol |
| You (plural) work here: nagtatrabaho kayo dito |
| You (plural) speak French: nagsasalita kayo ng Pranses |
| They drive a car: nagmamaneho sila ng kotse |
