I saw you: Jag såg dig
I wrote with a pen: Jag skrev med en penna
You loved apples: Du älskade äpplen
You gave money: Du gav pengar
You played tennis: Du spelade tennis
He read (past) a book: Han läste en bok
He understood me: Han förstod mig
She had a cat: Hon hade en katt
She knew my friend: Hon kände min vän
We wanted to learn: Vi ville lära oss
We thought Spanish is easy: Vi trodde att spanska var enkelt
You (plural) worked here: Ni jobbade här
You (plural) spoke French: Ni talade franska
They drove a car: De körde en bil
They smiled: De log
