Slovene Negation

This is a lesson about negation in Slovene. This includes words or expressions used to form a negative form as opposted to the affirmative. For example "I don't understand".

No: ne
Nothing: nič
Not yet: ne še
No one: noben / nihče
No longer: nič več
Never: nikoli
Cannot: ne more
Should not: ne sme

The below examples demonstrate how to use the negation form in a sentence. Don't be shy to use of these expressions if you don't know something.

We don't understand: ne razumemo
I do not speak Japanese: ne govorim japonsko
I cannot remember the word: ne morem se spomniti besede
You should not forget this word: ne bi smel pozabiti te besede
No problem!: ni problema
I don't know!: ne vem
I'm not interested!: ne zanima me
Don't worry!: ne skrbi
This is wrong: to je narobe
This is not correct: to ni pravilno
No one here speaks Greek: nihče tukaj ne govori grško
I'm not fluent in Italian yet: ne govorim še tekoče italijansko
