This is a list of colors in Malayalam. This will help you find ways to describe the colors of clothes, objects and much more.
| Black: കറുപ്പ് kaṟupp |
Blue: നീല nīla |
Brown: ചവുണ്ട cavuṇṭa |
Gray: ചാര നിറം cāra niṟaṁ |
| Green: പച്ച pacca |
Orange: ഓറഞ്ച് ōṟañc |
Red: ചുവപ്പ് cuvapp |
White: വെള്ള veḷḷa |
| Yellow: മഞ്ഞ mañña |
Dark color: ഇരുണ്ട നിറം iruṇṭa niṟaṁ |
Light color: ഇളം നിറം iḷaṁ niṟaṁ |
Colors: നിറങ്ങള് niṟaṅṅaḷ |
These examples show how colors are used in Malayalam. This is a good way to demonstrate how adjectives (colors) are used with nouns and verbs.

Your cat is white: നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂച്ച വെള്ളയാണ് niṅṅaḷuṭe pūcca veḷḷayāṇ |
| Black is his favorite color: കറുപ്പാണ് അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ട നിറം kaṟuppāṇ avanṟe iṣṭa niṟaṁ |
Red is not his favorite color: അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ട നിറം ചുവപ്പല്ല avanṟe iṣṭa niṟaṁ cuvappalla |
| She drives a yellow car: അവൾ ഓടിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു മഞ്ഞ കാർ ആണ് avaൾ ōṭikkunnat oru mañña kāർ āṇ |
I have black hair: എന്റെ മുടിയുടെ നിറം കറുപ്പാണ് enṟe muṭiyuṭe niṟaṁ kaṟuppāṇ |
