These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).
I saw you: Saya telah nampak awak |
I wrote with a pen: Saya telah menulis dengan pen |
You loved apples: Dulu awak gemar makan epal |
You gave money: Awak telah memberi wang |
You played tennis: Awak telah bermain tenis |
He read (past) a book: Dia telah membaca buku |
He understood me: Dia telah memahami saya |
She had a cat: Dia dulu ada kucing |
She knew my friend: Dia telah kenal kawan saya |
We wanted to learn: Kami pernah ingin belajar |
We thought Spanish is easy: Kami sangka bahasa Sepanyol mudah |
You (plural) worked here: Kamu telah bekerja disini |
You (plural) spoke French: Kamu telah berbahasa Perancis |
They drove a car: Mereka telah memandu kereta |
They smiled: Mereka telah senyum |
