Nationality in Gaelic
This is a list of some common nationalities in Gaelic. It is a nice addition to our other 2 pages: Languages and Countries.
Now we will put some of the words above into a sentence which you might use in a regular conversation about citizenship. All you need is to swap the nationality but keep the same sentence structure.
|I'm Italian: Tha mi às an Eadailt.|
|My wife is Korean: Tha a' bhean agam à Chòirea
|My father is Greek: Tha m' athair às a' Ghreig.|
|I have an American car: Tha càr Aimeireaganach agam.
|I love French cheese: 'S toil leam càise Frangach.|
|He has a Moroccan rug: Tha ruga Moroccanach aige.
