These are expressions used when giving or getting directions in Brazilian. Very useful when trying to find your way around or when lost.

| Can you show me?: Você pode me mostrar? |
| I'm lost: Estou perdido |
| I'm not from here: eu não sou daqui |
| Can I help you?: Posso ajudar você? |
| Can you help me?: Você pode me ajudar? |
| It's near here: é perto daqui |
| It's far from here: é longe daqui |
| Go straight: Vá em frente |
| Turn left: vire à esquerda |
| Turn right: vire à direita |
| One moment please!: Um momento, por favor! |
| Come with me!: Venha comigo! |
| How can I get to the museum? : Como chego ao museu? |
| How long does it take to get there?: Quanto tempo demora para chegar lá? |
| Downtown (city center): centro da cidade |
