This is a list of survival in Yoruba. Helpful in an emergency and can be a life saver. We are including both words and sentences at the bottom.

Headache: efori
Stomach ache: inu-rirun
Medicines: oogun
Pharmacy: pipo-oogun
Doctor: onisegun
Ambulance: oko ile iwosan
Hospital: ile iwosan
Help me: [Ẹ] ràn mí lọ́wọ́
Poison: majele
Accident: Jàmbá
Police: Ọ̀lọ́pàá
Danger: ewu
Stroke: Rọ-lápá rọ-lẹ́sẹ̀
Heart attack: Àìsàn ọkàn
Asthma: Àmísọ / Àmíkàn
Allergy: Àìbáramù

These phrases deal with different types of emergencies. We recommend memorizing them in case you need them for yourself or to help someone.

Call the police!: Pè ọlọ́pàá
Call a doctor!: Pè oníṣègùn òyìnbó
Call the ambulance!: pe oko ile-iwosan
I feel sick: Ara mi kò dá
Where is the closest pharmacy?: nibo ni ile ipo-oogun to wa nitosi?
It hurts here: Ibí yìí npani lára
Are you okay?: se ara ya?
It's urgent!: Ó nfẹ́ ìkánjú
Calm down!: Fara balẹ̀!
Stop!: Dúró!
Fire!: Iná!
Thief!: Olè!
