Welsh Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Welsh. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Later: wedyn
Tonight: heno
Last night: neithiwr
This morning: bore yma
Yesterday: ddoe
Today: heddiw
Tomorrow: yfory
Next week: wythnos nesaf
Already: yn barod
Recently: yn ddiweddar
Lately: yn ddiweddar
Soon: yn fuan (n) / cyn bo' hir (s)
Immediately: ar unwaith
Still: o hyd / dal
Yet: o hyd / dal

After the above adverbs of time, now we move on to adverbs of place.

Here: yma
There: yna / yno
Everywhere: ym mhobman
Anywhere: unrhywle / unman

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: yn ofalus
Alone: unig / ar eich pen eich hun
Very: iawn
Really: iawn
Quickly: yn gyflym
Slowly: yn araf
Almost: bron
Together: ynghyd / ar y cyd / gyda'ch gilydd

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: o hyd / wastad
Sometimes: am bell with / weithiau
Rarely: yn anaml
Never: byth
