Swedish Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Swedish. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Now: nu
Later: Senare
Tonight: i kväll
Last night: igår natt
This morning: i morse
Yesterday: i går
Today: i dag
Tomorrow: i morgon
Next week: nästa vecka
Already: redan
Recently: nyligen
Lately: på sistone
Soon: snart
Immediately: omedelbart
Still: fortfarande
Yet: ännu

Everywhere: överallt
Anywhere: var som helst

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: försiktigt
Alone: ensam
Very: mycket
Really: verkligen
Quickly: snabbt
Slowly: långsamt
Almost: nästan
Together: tillsammans

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: alltid
Sometimes: ibland
Rarely: sällan
Never: aldrig
