Maltese Questions

Why?: Għaliex?
Where?: Fejn?
When?: Meta?

What is this called?: X'jgħidulu dan? (M), X'jgħidulha din? (F)
Why is it expensive?: Għaliex huwa għoli? (M), Għaliex hija għolja? (F)
How would you like to pay?: Kif tixtieq tħallas?
Can I come?: Nista' niġi?
Do you know her?: Tafha?
How difficult is it?: Kemm hu diffiċli? (M), Kemm hi diffiċli? (F)
Can I help you?: Nista ngħinek?
Can you help me?: Tista tgħini?
Do you speak English?: Titkellem bl-Ingliż?
How far is this?: Kemm qiegħda 'l bogħod?
What time is it?: X'ħin hu?
How much is this?: Kemm hu? (M), Kemm hi? (F)
What is your name?: X'jismek?
Where do you live?: Fejn toqgħod?
When can we meet?: Meta nistgħu niltaqgħu?
Who is knocking at the door?: Min qed iħabbat fuq il-bieb?
