Latvian Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Latvian. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Now: tagad
Later: vēlāk
Tonight: šovakar
Last night: vakar vakarā
This morning: šorīt
Yesterday: vakar
Today: šodien
Tomorrow: rīt
Next week: nākamnedēļ
Already: jau
Recently: nesen
Lately: pēdējā laikā
Soon: drīz
Immediately: nekavējoties
Still: vēl
Yet: vēl ne... / jau

Everywhere: visur
Anywhere: jebkur

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: uzmanīgi
Alone: tikai
Very: ļoti
Really: tiešām
Quickly: ātri
Slowly: lēnām
Almost: gandrīz
Together: kopā

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: vienmēr
Sometimes: dažreiz
Rarely: reti
Never: nekad
