These are expressions used when giving or getting directions in Georgian. Very useful when trying to find your way around or when lost.
| Excuse me! (to ask someone): უკაცრავად ukatsravad |
Can you show me?: თუ შეიძლება მაჩვენეთ tu sheidzleba machvenet |
| I'm lost: მე დავიკარგე me davikarge |
I'm not from here: მე აქაური არ ვარ me aqauri ar var |
| Can I help you?: რით შემიზლია დაგეხმაროთ? rit shemidzlia dagekhmarot |
Can you help me?: შეგილიათ დამეხმაროთ? shegidzliat damekhmarot |
| It's near here: ეს აქ ახლოსაა es aq akhlosaa |
It's far from here: ეს აქედან შორსაა es aqedan shorsaa |
| Go straight: იარეთ პირდაპირ iaret pirdapir |
Turn left: შეუხვიეთ მარცხნივ sheukhviet martskhniv |
| Turn right: შეუხვიეთ მარჯვნივ sheukhviet mardzjvniv |
One moment please!: ერთი წუთით თუ შეიძლება / erti tsutit tu sheidzleba / |
| Come with me!: წამომყევით tsamomkhjevit |
How can I get to the museum? : როგორ მივიდე მუზეუმამდე? rogor mivide muzeumamde |
| How long does it take to get there?: რამდენი ხანი უნდა იქამდე მისვლას? ramdeni khani unda iqamde misvlas |
Downtown (city center): გარეუბანი (ქალაქის ცენრი) gareubani (qalaqis tsentri) |
The following are words which might be used alone or in combination with other words to ask or give directions.

Far: შორს shors |
Right: მაჯვნივ mardzjvniv |
Left: მარცხნივ martskhniv |
| Straight: პირდაპირ pirdapir |
There: იქ iq |
Here: აქ aq |
To walk: ფეხით pekhit |
| To drive: მანქანით manqnit |
To turn: შესახვევი shesakhvevi |
Traffic light: შუქნიშანი shuqnishani |
