These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).

I saw you: Je t'ai vu
I wrote with a pen: J'ai écrit avec un stylo
You loved apples: Vous avez adoré les pommes
You gave money: Vous avez donné de l'argent
You played tennis: Vous avez joué au tennis
He read (past) a book: Il a lu un livre
He understood me: Il m'a compris
She had a cat: Elle avait un chat
She knew my friend: Elle connaissait mon ami(e)
We wanted to learn: Nous avons voulu apprendre
We thought Spanish is easy: Nous avons pensé que l'espagnol était facile
You (plural) worked here: Vous avez travaillé ici
You (plural) spoke French: Vous avez parlé français
They drove a car: Ils ont conduit une voiture
They smiled: Ils ont souri
