Esperanto Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Esperanto. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Now: nun
Later: Poste
Tonight: ĉi-nokte
Last night: hieraŭ nokte
This morning: hodiaŭ matene
Yesterday: hieraŭ
Today: hodiaŭ
Tomorrow: morgaŭ
Next week: venontsemajne
Already: jam
Recently: lastatempe
Lately: lastatempe
Soon: baldaŭ
Immediately: tuj
Still: ankoraŭ
Yet: ankoraŭ

After the above adverbs of time, now we move on to adverbs of place.

Here: ĉi tie, tie ĉi
There: tie
Everywhere: ĉie
Anywhere: ie ajn

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: zorgeme
Alone: sole
Very: tre
Really: vere
Quickly: rapide
Slowly: malrapide
Almost: preskaŭ
Together: kune

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: ĉiam
Sometimes: foje, kelkfoje, fojfoje
Rarely: malofte
Never: neniam
