Danish Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Danish. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Now: nu
Later: senere
Tonight: i aften
Last night: i går aftes
This morning: her til morgen
Yesterday: i går
Today: i dag
Tomorrow: i morgen
Next week: næste uge
Already: allerede
Recently: nylig
Lately: nylig
Soon: snart
Immediately: straks
Still: stadig
Yet: endnu

After the above adverbs of time, now we move on to adverbs of place.

Everywhere: overalt
Anywhere: hvor som helst

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: omhyggeligt
Alone: alene
Very: meget
Really: virkelig
Quickly: hurtigt
Slowly: langsomt
Almost: næsten
Together: sammen

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: altid
Sometimes: undertiden
Rarely: sjældent
Never: aldrig
