You loved apples: Jy het van appels gehou |
You gave money: Jy het geld gegee |
You played tennis: Jy het tennis gespeel |
He read (past) a book: Hy het 'n boek gelees |
He understood me: Hy het my verstaan |
She had a cat: Sy het 'n kat gehad |
She knew my friend: Sy het my vriend geken |
We wanted to learn: Ons wou leer |
We thought Spanish is easy: Ons het gedink Spaans is maklik |
You (plural) worked here: Julle het hier gewerk |
You (plural) spoke French: Julle het Frans gepraat |
They drove a car: Hulle het ’n motor bestuur |
